The KSU RESQUE-UA project received a high evaluation from Erasmus+ experts and was included in the grant support reserve
The RESQUE-UA project, coordinated by Kherson State University, successfully passed expert evaluation within the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education 2026 competition. The initiative, aimed at strengthening institutional resilience and the development of displaced Ukrainian universities, received 83 out of a possible 100 points and was included in the grant support reserve.
The «Resilient Systems for Quality and Excellence in Displaced Universities in Ukraine» (RESQUE-UA) project was aimed at strengthening the institutional resilience, quality of governance, and academic excellence of displaced Ukrainian universities through the development of a common governance system, quality assurance, and an integrated digital ecosystem based on Smart Campus KSU24.
This is a special application: KSU acted as the coordinator of an international consortium, which included displaced and frontline Ukrainian universities –
- Mariupol State University,
- Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs,
- Taras Shevchenko Luhansk National University,
- Berdyansk State Pedagogical University,
- V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University,
- Sumy State University,
- as well as our strategic partner - Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University.
European expertise was provided by
Tallinn University of Technology,
- KTH Royal Institute of Technology (KTH, Sweden),
- Université Côte d'Azur (France),
- i-Strategies (Italy).
The project passed an absolutely successful evaluation, receiving 83 out of 100 possible points, which is a very high and indicative result for an application of such scale and ambition. And it has been placed on the reserve list for grant support.

Such a score confirms that the quality of our proposal, the depth of methodology development, and the real expertise of the consortium are at a high European level. Most importantly, it confirms that KSU is capable not only of participating in but also coordinating large-scale international consortia to develop solutions for displaced universities.
