Representatives of KSU participated in the international scientific conference "Olviia Forum-2026"
From July 2 to 5, in Mykolaiv, at the base of the Petro Mohyla Kherson National University, the XXIII International Scientific Conference "Olviia Forum-2026: strategies of Black Sea region countries in the geopolitical space" was held.
This year, the forum was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the institution of higher education.
From Kherson State University, the first vice-rector Serhii Omelchuk and the head of the intellectual property department Valeriia Blakh participated in the scientific event.
As part of the event, participants discussed current issues in the development of science, education, innovation, public administration, international cooperation, and strategic development under modern geopolitical challenges. The forum program combined plenary sessions, sectional meetings, round tables, discussion platforms, and professional networking.
A separate event was the meeting of the Presidium of the Council of Vice-Rectors for Research. During the meeting, Volodymyr Pavlikov, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, and Chairman of the Council of Vice-Rectors for Research, emphasized the importance of coordinating the scientific activities of universities, developing interuniversity cooperation, strengthening the research potential of higher education institutions, and forming common approaches to responding to the challenges facing Ukrainian science.
