Vice-rectors of Kherson State University participated in a traditional business breakfast of the Mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk, Ruslan Martsinkiv, with representatives of the Ivano-Frankivsk IT Cluster.

The University was represented by the Vice-Rector for Social-Humanitarian and Scientific-Pedagogical Work Veronika Denysenko and the Vice-Rector for Digitalization, Innovation, Investment Activity, and Scientific-Pedagogical Work Oleksandr Lemeschuk.

During the meeting, participants discussed the development of the IT ecosystem in Ivano-Frankivsk, the interaction between business, authorities, and educational institutions, the training of modern specialists, youth support, innovation development, and the prospects for joint projects. Particular attention was paid to the role of universities in forming human capital and developing the region's digital economy.

“For Kherson State University, participation in such discussions is extremely important. We are convinced that modern education must be formed in a constant dialogue with employers, the IT community, and local government bodies. Only this way can we ensure the training of competitive specialists who will meet the needs of the labor market and contribute to the development of Ukraine. It is especially valuable that after relocation, KSU has become a full member of the professional community of Prykarpattia. Such meetings open new opportunities for partnership, the development of digital education, the implementation of joint projects, and internships for our students. We sincerely thank the Executive Director of the Ivano-Frankivsk IT Cluster, Iryna Darvai, for the invitation and openness to cooperation, as well as the city authorities of Ivano-Frankivsk and Mayor Ruslan Martsinkiv for listening to community representatives”, – emphasized KSU Rector Oleksandr Spivakovskyi.
