On June 30, 2026, a meeting was held with the rector of KhSU

On June 30, 2026, a meeting of the teams of the Faculty of Pedagogy and the Faculty of Psychology, History and Sociology with the rector Oleksandr Volodymyrovych Spivakovsky and the vice-rectors of the university was held at Kherson State University.

During the meeting, important changes in the structure of the university were presented, namely: the unification of two powerful structures into one large faculty, which from July 1, 2026 will be called the Faculty of Pedagogy, Psychology and Social Work.

It was also noted that the new faculty unites the largest number of departments among all faculties of the university - six, which opens up new opportunities for interdisciplinary cooperation and development.
