A KSU representative visited the "Kobzar" rock festival, among whose organizers are our alumni.
On June 28, the IV Southern Shevchenko Rock Fest «Kobzar» took place in the city of Odesa – an artistic event that united fans of Ukrainian culture, music, and the creativity of Taras Shevchenko.
Organized rock fest by the CS «Palace of Youth and Students» HOR, the Department of Culture of the Kherson City Council, with the support of the Department for the Implementation of Humanitarian Policy of KhODA.
Among the festival organizers are graduates of the «Culturology» specialty of the Department of Culture and Arts of Kherson State University. Namely – Olena Zvyagina — director of the CS «Palace of Youth and Students» of the Kherson Regional Council, and Yuliia Sotsenko – head of the department of cultural and educational work and leisure organization of the CS «Palace of Youth and Students» of the Kherson Regional Council.
Natalia Tereshenko, head of the Department of Culture and Arts, joined the event. «We are sincerely happy for your professional successes and are proud that the department's graduates not only realize themselves in the field of culture but also create large-scale art projects that popularize Ukrainian culture, unite people, and inspire new generations», – noted the head of the Department of Culture and Arts of KSU.
The event took place in Odesa's Shevchenko Park, bringing together artists, creative groups, and spectators from various parts of Ukraine. Young performers, famous bands, and military orchestras performed, and the final chord of the festival was a performance by the legendary band «Tin Sontsia».
In addition to the concert program, guests were treated to a craft fair, a children's area, creative locations, charity auctions, and food courts. Also, a round table «Ukrainian - the language of heroes» was held at the Mykhailo Hrushevsky Library.
