KSU held a first aid training session
A first aid training session was held in the Ivano-Frankivsk office of Kherson State University. It was conducted by third-year students of the Faculty of Medicine, Olena Maksymenko, Serhii Yehorov, and Mykola Stepaniuk, who work in Kherson's emergency medical aid teams.
During the practical session, participants practiced the algorithm for performing adult cardiopulmonary resuscitation, as well as familiarized themselves with the specifics of using an automated external defibrillator and an Ambu bag.
Such training sessions allow future medics to improve the practical skills necessary for providing emergency care and to gain experience from colleagues who are already working in the field of emergency medicine.
"We sincerely thank our students for their professionalism, initiative, and readiness to share practical experience. It is precisely such events that help future medics acquire knowledge that one day may save someone's life," – noted the dean of the medical faculty Ihor Holovchenko.
