Today marks three years since the Russian aggressor committed one of the most horrific crimes of this war — the blowing up of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant.

June 6, 2023, will forever remain a dark date in the history of Ukraine. Within hours, rushing waters destroyed homes, flooded entire settlements, claimed the lives of people and animals, annihilated unique ecosystems, and left deep scars on the Ukrainian land.

This was not merely an attack on critical infrastructure. It was a deliberate strike against people, nature, and the future — a crime whose consequences are profoundly felt to this day.

We remember everyone who suffered from this tragedy. We remember the heroes who rescued people under relentless shelling, the volunteers who aided the victims, and all those who stepped up during those darkest days.
