Recruitment for semester-based studies at Pomeranian University has been announced for the 1st semester of the 2026-2027 academic year

Faculty of Psychology, History and Sociology (field of study: «History and Archaeology», «Psychology», «Sociology», «Social Work»)

There is an opportunity to participate in semester studies at Pomeranian University during the 1st semester of the 2026-2027 academic year in a specific field according to the chosen study program.

Language of instruction: Polish (exception: philology specialties).

Tuition: free of charge. In case of unsuccessful completion of the exam session, the fee for the semester will be 500 euros 

Accommodation in a dormitory: 100 euros per month.

Transport costs and meals: at your own expense.

Study period: from October 1, 2026, to February 15, 2027.

First of all, it is necessary to write an application for the semester exchange and obtain consent from the dean of your faculty.

A sample application can be obtained at the International Relations Department (international@ksu.ks.ua)

List of required documents (until June 10, 2026):

1. International passport (scan);

2. Photo;

3. Selected disciplines for study from the course catalog (Mandatory amount – 30 credits. Selected and coordinated together with the faculty management).

4. Semester exchange participant questionnaire (available after registration on the Pomeranian University website.  To be completed with a representative of the KSU International Relations Department);

5. Completed dormitory accommodation form (if accommodation is required for the student)

The list of disciplines will be sent to the student and the faculty management in case of interest in the semester exchange.

Application deadline: June 10, 2026.

Registration on the Pomeranian University website will be conducted after the candidates are approved by Pomeranian University (after June 10, 2026)

Important information:

- Minor students are not admitted.
- 60% of the selected subjects must be from the student's major at their university;
- 40% of the subjects can be general education.
- It is mandatory to include «Polish Language» (3 ECTS credits) in this list.
- For the English Philology program, there is a limited number of places — up to two students from one university.

Upon arrival at the university, students participate in an organizational meeting with our university's coordinator, during which they receive information about studies, administrative procedures, and necessary formalities.

Next, a meeting takes place with the subject coordinator, who provides the class schedule and assists with course selection.
Students have three weeks to make changes to the Learning Agreement if the selected subjects are unsuitable for any reason.

During mobility, the student must obtain at least 27 ECTS credits.

Upon successful completion of studies, the coordinator sends a Transcript of Records and a certificate of participation in the program to the partner university.

After receiving all necessary documents for the nominated student from the coordinator, our university's coordinator sends an official invitation to study.
