KSU delegation takes part in the festivities marking the 57th anniversary of the founding of Pomeranian University

KSU Rector Oleksandr Spivakovsky congratulated the Rector of Pomeranian University, Professor Zbigniew Osadowski, and the entire HEI community. He emphasized that 15 years have passed since the universities began cooperating.

«This was even during the time of Rector Professor Roman Drozd. During this time, we have had more than just meetings. Over two hundred of our students have completed double degree programs. Integration between countries happens through the hearts of our children, our students. These students work in Ukraine, in Poland, and in various countries of the European Union. It is through them that true relations between our countries are built. I thank your university community for the opportunity for such cooperation. Today we are experiencing a deep crisis. The whole world is experiencing it. On one hand, there is a person who easily trades territories for human lives, maims and kills millions of people, seizing someone else's land. On the other hand - the values of free democracy, which we have always spoken about, which were the foundation of the Western world, but which some today are trying to replace with business and money. However, we will survive this crisis because the philosophy of civilization development lies in one thing: the freedom of a free person above all else. This is precisely the value that we are defending today and for which we are fighting».

The KSU Rector presented a gift from Kherson State University – a painting.

«This is no ordinary painting. It ended up under occupation when Russian soldiers were in Kherson for nine months. We managed to save and evacuate this work. The painting depicts our coastline - Skadovsk district, Lazurne village, the «Burevisnyk» health center, – said Oleksandr Spivakovsky.
