KSU students are conquering the peaks of the Carpathians
Students and faculty of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport at Kherson State University, as part of their educational practice, undertook an exciting ascent of Mount Makovytsia, which towers near Yaremche.
Step by step, overcoming steep forest paths shrouded in morning coolness, we climb upward. And the reward for endurance was incredible, breathtaking panoramic views, the majestic ridges of the Carpathians, an endless emerald sea of forests and clean, freedom-loving mountain air, – they write on the faculty's page.
The faculty is confident that for future physical education teachers and coaches, this hike became not only a bright adventure but also an extremely important practical lesson. After all, a true professional must know from personal experience how to properly organize physical activity, calculate the load, ensure safety, and unite the group in field conditions.
