A delegation of Kherson State University is participating in events marking the 57th anniversary of the founding of the Pomeranian University in Słupsk (Poland).

On May 28, a formal reception was held for the partners of Pomeranian University in the City Hall. The KSU team met with the Vice President from Słupsk, Beata Chsanowska.

The Rector of KSU, Oleksandr Spivakovskyi, addressed the assembly. He emphasized that today we, Ukrainians and Ukrainian educators, are bearers of a unique experience. An experience born through blood, the destruction of our land, and war.

“And now, most importantly – to share this experience. Because we live and work in difficult conditions. We want peace in Europe more than anything, so that war does not touch other countries. But at the same time, we realize: certain risks exist. That is why we must continue our relations not only in matters of aid, for which we are sincerely grateful, but also within the framework of educational diplomacy and the strengthening of democracy in Europe. We share common values - the values of freedom and humanity. Not only freedom from Putin, but freedom for every person. This is one of the key differences between Ukraine, the countries of the European Union, and Russia”, – noted Oleksandr Spivakovskyi.

The Rector of KSU thanked them for the partnership and presented symbolic gifts from Ukraine.
