At Kherson State University, the All-Ukrainian Youth Scientific Forum «Science that shapes the future: ideas, research, impact» was held. The event took place within the framework of Science Days 2026 and brought together young scientists from various cities in Ukraine.

The organizers of the forum were the Scientific Society of Students, Graduate Students, Doctoral Students and Young Scientists of KSU, together with the Department for Working with Gifted Youth.

As the First Vice-Rector of KSU Serhii Omelchuk noted, scientific initiatives of young people play a key role in the development of the university environment and the scientific community.

«At Kherson State University, we are always open to creative innovations. I hope that this year's forum will become a good tradition and a platform for discussing important issues», – noted Serhii Omelchuk.

The head of the KSU Department for Working with Gifted Youth, Yuliia Yurina, in her welcoming remarks, emphasized the importance of youth science and wished the participants productive work:

«This event has brought together truly ambitious and creative youth. It is you who form the intellectual potential of Ukraine, generating new ideas. I wish you fruitful work, interesting discussions, inspiration, new scientific achievements, and professional growth».

The Chair of the Scientific Society of Students, Graduate Students, Doctoral Students and Young Scientists of KSU, Tamara Mandych, emphasized the expansion of the Science Days format and the involvement of a wider circle of participants.

«We actively hold Science Days, and this year we decided to scale up and organize a forum, combining the experience of scientific societies and councils of young scientists from various higher education institutions», – shared Tamara Mandych.

In a remote format, participants also viewed a video greeting from the Chair of the Council of Young Scientists under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Anastasiia Simakhova.

During the forum, young scientists from Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Donetsk, Odesa, and Kherson presented their reports. The work was organized into two thematic blocks: «Experience in Organizing Youth Scientific Work» and «Doctoral Lecture Hall».
