KSU representatives joined the discussion of the Kherson community's development strategy.
The first meeting of the working group for the development of the Kherson City Territorial Community Development Strategy was held, at which its concept was presented.
Representatives of the Faculty of Business and Law of Kherson State University joined the event – Dean Kateryna Melnykova and the Head of the Department of Economics, Management, and Administration Yuliia Ushkarenko.
The meeting was chaired by Deputy Mayor Vitalii Bielobrov. Participants discussed the key directions of the future strategic document, which is intended to serve as the foundation for the recovery and development of the community in the conditions of war and after Ukraine's victory.
The discussion focused on forming a long-term vision for the development of the Kherson community in security, social, humanitarian, economic, ecological, and spatial dimensions. Particular attention was paid to issues regarding the return of residents, infrastructure restoration, economic development, and attracting investment.
Among other things, they discussed the stages of document preparation and the need to consolidate the efforts of the authorities, the expert community, business, and the public to develop a shared vision for the future of the community.
