A meeting of the scientific and methodological council was held at KSU
On May 21, at Kherson State University, on the ZOOM platform, a meeting of the university's scientific and methodological council was held. The meeting took place with the invitation of faculty deans, educational program guarantors, and scientific and pedagogical staff.
The Deputy Chair of the University Scientific and Methodological Council, Head of the Teaching and Methodological Department Tetiana Kornishiova, informed about the status of accreditation of educational programs in the 2025/2026 academic year and provided clarifications regarding the preparation for the accreditation procedure of educational programs of the first (Bachelor's), second (Master's), and third (educational-scientific) levels in the 2026/2027 academic year.
At the meeting, it was decided to approve and submit a petition to the University Academic Council for the approval of curricula for the second (Master's) and third (educational-scientific) levels of higher education in full-time, correspondence, and evening forms of study for 2026 applicants. In particular, the working curricula for the III-IV courses of the first (Bachelor's) level and I-II courses of the second (Master's) level of higher education for the 2026/2027 academic year were approved.
The results of the audit for compliance with academic integrity requirements and the expertise of qualification works (projects) of second-level (Master's) higher education students (1.9 years of study) in the spring semester of the 2025/2026 academic year, as well as the results of a survey on the quality of educational programs at all levels of higher education, provided by the Head of the Education Quality Assurance Department Tetiana Cherkashyna, were analyzed. Those present discussed general recommendations and wishes from students of the first (Bachelor's), second (Master's), and third (educational-scientific) levels of higher education.
For the purpose of obtaining a recommendation from the Academic Council of Kherson State University, it was decided at the meeting to recommend a study guide prepared by a scientific and pedagogical worker of the Department of Economics, Management, and Administration for consideration by the University Academic Council.
