KSU scientists were told how to increase publication activity
Events for Science Days are ongoing at Kherson State University. On May 20, a webinar «How to increase a scientist's publication activity or how to choose a journal for publication» was held. The event brought together more than 30 participants.
The Scientific Library of Kherson State University acted as the initiator and organizer; the event was moderated by director Alla Koval. She noted that today's topic is extremely relevant for modern researchers:
«It is important not only to prepare a high-quality study, but also to correctly choose publications for publication, navigate the requirements of international databases, and work with scientometric databases. That is why today's event will be particularly useful for teachers, young scientists, graduate students, and everyone engaged in scientific activity».
Speaker: Alina Kryvorobkova – editor of the scientific and technical library of KhAI, specialist in the preparation and support of scientific journals, working with international scientometric databases, and information and analytical support for scientific activity.
During the event, Alina Kryvorobkova introduced participants to modern approaches to selecting scientific journals, the specifics of a researcher's publication activity, criteria for evaluating publications, and useful tools for the modern scientist.
