On May 18, 2026, a thematic meeting was held in a mixed format on the occasion of the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Deportation of the Crimean Tatar People "Remembering the Tragedy of 1944: Historical Memory, Rights and Modern Challenges". The event was organized by the Department of Humanitarian Policy Implementation of the Kherson Regional State Administration.
