Ukraine guarantees you legal support on the path to obtaining an education in Ukraine!

To this end, the free legal aid system operates — it is a state network where you can receive legal assistance — in person, by phone, or online. Every applicant, student, and child in Ukraine, including those from temporarily occupied territories, has the right to free legal aid. The provision of services is completely free of charge, as it is guaranteed by the state and funded by the State Budget of Ukraine.

What services can be obtained free of charge

1. Legal consultations on any issues, assistance with documents. They can be received by all citizens of Ukraine and people in Ukraine.

For example, regarding:

- obtaining information about benefits and state support;

- IDP status; - obtaining and restoring lost documents (passports, birth certificates, educational documents);

- social payments and benefits, including resettlement allowance for children who have returned from temporarily occupied territories or deportation;

- exercising other rights, in accordance with Ukrainian legislation;

2. Assistance with court applications — representation of interests, particularly in courts, drafting court documents to resolve various life situations. It is provided to specific categories of citizens defined by Art. 14 of the Law of Ukraine «On Free Legal Aid». Specifically, these include children, IDPs, members of families of fallen defenders of Ukraine, and others.
