KSU expands the horizons of international cooperation
On April 23, the Ivano-Frankivsk office of Kherson State University was visited by Dr. Michael Hall - representative of the External Relations Department of Münster University of Technology (Ireland), coordinator of the INGENIUM Alliance of European Universities partnership.
During a meeting with the Rector of KSU Oleksandr Spivakovskyi, Michael Hall discussed possible areas of cooperation, specifically digitalization, international mobility, and joint scientific and cultural projects.
"These are topics where the university has expertise and is ready to share experience gained during work in crisis, marginal circumstances.
Mr. Michael has significant experience in developing international partnerships, particularly cooperation with Ukrainian universities and regions.
"For us, such contacts are not only about new partnerships. It is about integration into the European educational space, about new opportunities for students and teachers, and about strengthening the institutional capacity of the university," – noted Oleksandr Spivakovskyi.
The guest was presented with an institutional publication “Black Swan in the History of Kherson State University, or Chronicles of a Displaced University,” which documents the events of the first year of the full-scale invasion through the prism of KSU's activities. A collection titled “Kherson Essays: Living to Win” was also presented, containing personal reflections on the events of war, occupation, and relocation from members of the university community, as well as an album with photographs showing the destruction caused by shelling of our infrastructure in Kherson.
The guest was also given a tour of the KSU office in Ivano-Frankivsk.
"We thank you for the warm feedback and wishes for our community that Mr. Michael left in the KSU Book of Honorary Guests," – said Oleksandr Spivakovskyi.
