In Ivano-Frankivsk, KSU students prepared Kherson-style fish soup and potato pancakes
On April 23, the Rector of KSU Oleksandr Spivakovskyi, together with First Vice-Rector Serhii Omelchuk and Vice-Rectors Veronika Denysenko and Oleksandr Omelchuk, visited the KSU hospitality and restaurant business laboratory.
Students treated guests to soup and potato pancakes with mushroom sauce. These are exactly the same potato pancakes that student Yevhen Shevchenko prepares for our defenders in a volunteer team of Kherson residents.
"It is more than just cooking. It is about the connection between cities, between people, between the front and the rear. About care that has flavor and warmth.
An incredible feeling: to taste in Ivano-Frankivsk dishes that our students and teachers prepare for the military in their native Kherson.
It turns out that thanks to weeks of in-person learning at Kherson State University, this is entirely possible. Such [learning] is currently taking place at the Faculty of Business and Law," emphasized Oleksandr Spivakovsky.
Also, representatives of the rectorate spoke with the faculty community.
"Thank you to the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Law, Kateryna Melnykova, and all the teachers for the interesting educational activities prepared for the week of in-person learning in Ivano-Frankivsk. It includes many excursions, workshops, masterclasses, warm communication, and new experiences. Special words of gratitude to the Head of the Department of Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Business, Valentyna Burak. Wherever you are, it is always creative, hospitable, patriotic, and delicious.
