Future lawyers visited the ombudsman's office in Ivano-Frankivsk

As part of an in-person training week, students and faculty of the Department of National and International Law and Law Enforcement Activities of Kherson State University visited the office of the Human Rights Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in Ivano-Frankivsk.

An office representative - Liudmyla Nepyivoda - conducted a meaningful lecture-meeting on the topic: «The Role of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Commissioner for Human Rights in Protecting the Constitutional Rights of Citizens under Martial Law».

During the event, current mechanisms for protecting human rights, the specifics of their implementation under wartime conditions, and practical aspects of the Ombudsman institution's activities were discussed.

Representatives of the Faculty of Law of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University also joined the meeting, which facilitated professional dialogue and exchange of experience among students from different higher education institutions.
