The Faculty of Business and Law of Kherson State University has started an in-person week in Ivano-Frankivsk. This is already the fourth visit of students and faculty members, organized for the purpose of live interaction, exchange of experience, and strengthening the academic community under conditions of blended learning.

Throughout the week, participants will take part in a series of educational, practical, and integration activities aimed at developing professional competencies, teamwork, and networking. A special emphasis is placed on combining the educational process with informal communication, which allows for strengthening ties between students and teachers.

This format has already proven its effectiveness: previous in-person weeks have become a platform for generating new ideas, launching joint initiatives, and increasing student engagement in the educational process.

The first day of the in-person week at the Faculty of Business and Law in Ivano-Frankivsk was filled with both practical field activities and internal academic work.

As part of studying profile disciplines, students visited «Kherson Quarter» — a community of businesses that relocated to the city after the start of the full-scale war: Prostir, Ivano-Frankivsk, Shaurmax - shawarma with southern flavor, Babusyni Stravy, Spilne – a craft goods shop. During the meeting, students spoke directly with the owners of the establishments, discussed the key challenges of forced displacement, and also learned about management decisions that allowed entrepreneurs to restore operations virtually «from scratch» in a new environment.

Particular attention was paid to the transformation of business models, adaptation to a new market, and development strategies under conditions of high uncertainty. This format of interaction allowed students not only to consolidate theoretical knowledge but also to gain applied insights from practitioners working in the real sector of the economy.

After the field part of the program, a scheduled meeting of the Academic Council took place at the faculty. During the meeting, a number of key issues were considered.

The in-person week continues, and ahead are — new events, meetings, and practical cases aimed at strengthening the link between education and the real business environment.
