On April 15, representatives of Kherson State University met with Dr. Doris Hattenberger, Vice-Rector for Education and Diversity at the University of Klagenfurt.

The agenda included two major issues: the situation in Ukraine and in higher education through the lens of Kherson State University, as well as material and technical support for the creation of a Simulation Center for the Medical Faculty.

As Rector Oleksandr Spivakovskiy noted, this is a very important area for the university, grounded in the regional context. KSU trains medical professionals for the Kherson region, and our students are already working in emergency services, hospitals in the region and the city.

“The University of Klagenfurt sincerely supports our development plans and is seeking opportunities to engage other partner universities. We believe in a positive outcome together. We already have a successful example of cooperation - the server equipment, which has made a significant contribution to our institutional resilience and the development of our digital infrastructure.

We were also pleased to present our partners with a symbolic gift - a piece of amber artwork created by craftsmen from the Prykarpattia region. The image reproduces a shared photo from our previous meeting.

Our gift is both gratitude, memory and confirmation that our partnership story continues.
