KSU and the University of Klagenfurt Discussed New Areas of Cooperation, Including the Medical Faculty

On April 15, within the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Training program, an important meeting and exchange of information took place with Ms. Elena Buffa, Head of the International Office at the University of Klagenfurt, regarding the current situation in Ukraine and best practices in managing Erasmus+ mobility. The event was attended by representatives of Kherson State University, including Rector Oleksandr Spivakovskiy and Vice-Rector for International, Research and Education Affairs Alla Tsapiv.

According to Rector Oleksandr Spivakovskiy, our cooperation has been ongoing for many years:

“Starting from the new semester, two more of our students are preparing for international mobility within semester exchange programs. These are opportunities!”

The meeting also addressed cooperation at the level of the Medical Faculty.

As the Rector of KSU noted, there is already a preliminary agreement regarding support with equipment:

“This is quite realistic, as we already have a successful case in which the University of Klagenfurt and the University of Graz provided us with server equipment, which makes our university independent and enables us to deploy advanced digital tools. It is an important contribution to our institutional resilience and the development of our digital infrastructure.”

Oleksandr Spivakovskiy also expressed gratitude to the academic coordinator of the partnership, long-time friend of KSU, Professor Tilmann Reuther, for organizing and supporting the meetings. In addition, the KSU community presented partners with branded hoodies and Ukrainian sweets.
