A lecture on the implementation of the HACCP system in the hospitality sector was held at KSU.
Within the framework of cooperation and strengthening practical training for higher education students, a guest lecture was held at the Faculty of Business and Law of Kherson State University.
The organizers were the Department of Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Business of KSU, together with Maryna Malakhova, a representative of the Kherson City Office of the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.
The event is dedicated to the relevant topic of implementing the HACCP system (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) in food industry establishments.
During the lecture, participants became familiar with the principles of the HACCP system, its role in ensuring food safety, legislative requirements, and practical aspects of implementation in hotel and restaurant enterprises.
"Such meetings are an important component of high-quality professional training for future specialists, as they allow combining theoretical knowledge with the real requirements of the modern hospitality industry," – noted Kateryna Melnykova, Dean of the Faculty.
