On April 15, within the framework of the Erasmus+ “Staff Mobility for Training” program, an important meeting and exchange of information took place regarding the current situation in Ukraine and best practices for managing Erasmus+ mobility with Olena Buffa, Head of the International Office of the University of Klagenfurt. Representatives of Kherson State University participated in the event – Rector Oleksandr Spivakovskyi and Vice-Rector for International and Scientific-Pedagogical Work Alla Tsapiv.

According to Rector Oleksandr Spivakovsky, our cooperation has lasted for many years:

“Currently, starting from the new semester, two more of our students are preparing for international mobility under the semester exchange program. These are opportunities!”.

Also, within the framework of the meeting, cooperation at the level of the medical faculty was discussed.

As the Rector of KSU noted, there is already a preliminary agreement regarding the provision of assistance with equipment:

“This is entirely realistic, as we have a successful case where the University of Klagenfurt and the University of Graz provided us with server equipment, which makes our university independent and provides opportunities for the deployment of serious digital tools. This is an important contribution to our institutional resilience and the development of the university's digital infrastructure”.

Oleksandr Spivakovsky also thanked the academic coordinator of the partnership, a long-time friend of KSU, Professor Tilmann Reuther for organizing and supporting the meetings. Also, from the KSU community, branded hoodies and Ukrainian sweets were presented to the partners.
