Digital culture and new partnerships: KSU studies the experience of the University of Klagenfurt
At the University of Klagenfurt, representatives of Kherson State University familiarized themselves with the interesting experience of forming digital culture in Austrian society and discussed opportunities for cooperation.
The Head of the Department of Mathematics, Informatics and Didactics at the University of Klagenfurt, Prof. Andreas Bollin, presented a teaching system and approaches to developing computational thinking.
Semantic models and artificial intelligence are very popular fields, and acquaintance with them necessarily begins long before entering university. Through visual constructors and diagrams, children are shown how artificial intelligence works and what errors it can make, forming critical thinking and the skill of building a logical structure before starting any project or task.
The university operates as an open ecosystem: laboratories are accessible not only to students but also to the wider educational community. This is an effective model for the seamless integration of school and higher education.
"We discussed the practical aspect of possible cooperation through the Center for Digital Expertise, which we are launching at Kherson State University.
During the introduction to the work of the Drone Development Hub, a networking format was proposed, as our alumni and students, currently serving in the AFU, already have their own unique experience in assembling and programming UAVs. This idea received an enthusiastic response.
The conclusion is obvious: investing in digital culture from an early age and the openness of universities to cooperation are the keys to forming a strong, innovative society.
We are moving in this direction.
