Organisational meeting on the preparation for the defence of dissertations in one-off specialised academic councils
On 26 February 2026, an organisational meeting was held with fourth-year postgraduate students, academic supervisors and guarantors of educational and scientific programmes. The event was attended by the university's first vice-rector, Serhii Omelchuk.
The meeting was organized by the Postgraduate and Doctoral Department to coordinate the final stage of preparation for applicants and to ensure proper organizational and regulatory support for the dissertation defense procedure.
During the meeting, participants discussed the algorithm for initiating the creation of a one-time specialised academic council; requirements for the package of documents necessary for submission for defence; compliance with the principles of academic integrity and requirements for thesis verification; features of the formation of the council and requirements for official opponents; deadlines for submitting documents and key stages of the defence procedure.

Збори було організовано відділом аспірантури та докторантури з метою координації завершального етапу підготовки здобувачів та забезпечення належного організаційного й нормативного супроводу процедури захисту дисертації.
Під час зустрічі учасники обговорили алгоритм ініціювання створення разової спеціалізованої вченої ради; вимоги до пакета документів, необхідних для подання до захисту; дотримання принципів академічної доброчесності та вимоги до перевірки дисертації; особливості формування складу ради та вимоги до офіційних опонентів; строки подання документів і ключові етапи проходження процедури захисту.
