А meeting of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Education

On November 11, 2025, a meeting of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Education was held. At the beginning of the meeting, all those present were greeted by the Dean of the Faculty, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Liubov Yevheniivna Petukhova, on a significant occasion—the 3rd anniversary of the liberation of Kherson.

After that, a number of important issues were considered.

The first issue focused on the adaptation of first-year students to studying in a distance-learning format. Reports were delivered by Anastasiia Vasylivna Horlova, Olena Vasylivna Kazannikova, Anastasiia Serhiivna Volianiuk, and Vladyslava Ihorivna Falchenko, who shared their own observations and best practices for supporting students in the new learning environment.

The second issue addressed the perspectives of the departments regarding competitive recruitment to vacant positions. In particular, the following heads of departments spoke:
– Olena Valeriivna Sahan, Head of the Department of Theory and Methods of Preschool and Primary Education;
– Liudmyla Arkadiivna Perminova, Head of the Department of Pedagogy, Psychology, and Educational Management named after Professor Ye. Petukhov;
– Nataliia Anatoliivna Voropai, Head of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of Preschool and Primary Education.

Within the framework of the third issue, Liudmyla Arkadiivna Perminova presented a proposal on the approval of individual study plans and dissertation topics for first-year doctoral (PhD) students.

The fourth issue involved a discussion by the heads of departments on the prospects for career guidance activities aimed at promoting pedagogical specialties among school students and prospective applicants.
