The Faculty of Education held a regular meeting of the Academic Council

On July 2, 2025, the Faculty of Education held a regular meeting of the Academic Council dedicated to summarizing the results of the academic year, certification outcomes, rating evaluations, and scientific and career guidance activities.

The meeting was opened by the Dean of the Faculty, Liubov Petukhova, who emphasized the significant achievements of both students and faculty and outlined the key objectives for planning future work.

As part of the first and second agenda items, Iryna Tsiupak presented the results of the summer examination session for full-time and part-time students, as well as the outcomes of the state certification of bachelor's degree candidates.

Deputy heads of the examination commissions shared their conclusions regarding certification and the admission campaign:
– Vira Liashko – for the specialty 016 Special Education;
– Lidiia Drozd – regarding further admission of graduates to master's programs;
– Olena Anisimova – for the specialty 012 Preschool Education;
– Anastasiia Horlova – for the specialty 013 Primary Education.

All speakers noted the high level of student preparation and their strong desire to continue their studies at the master's level.

Under the third agenda item, Iryna Tsiupak reported on the formation of academic groups for studying elective professional training components in the spring semester of the 2025–2026 academic year.

The fourth item concerned the results of the rating evaluation of academic staff. Liubov Petukhova reported on the improved position of the Department of Special Education in the overall university ranking. Anastasiia Volianiuk provided comments on international activities and their significance in evaluating departmental performance.

Under the fifth item, Valeriia Blakh reported on students’ participation in national student research competitions, particularly in the specialties 013 Primary Education and 016 Special Education. Essay contests and the launch of a new nationwide competition initiated by Hlukhiv National Pedagogical University named after O. Dovzhenko were also highlighted.

Lidiia Drozd presented on the progress of career guidance activities, noting the active involvement of faculty and the positive results of an online survey of prospective applicants. Veronika Denysenko expressed her gratitude to all participants for their consistent efforts in this area.

In the seventh item, Yurii Yurchuk provided an update on the faculty website’s redesign and outlined the technical aspects of updating information.

All decisions were unanimously approved. We thank our colleagues for their coordinated efforts and professionalism.
