On May 14, 2025, the Faculty of Pedagogy at Kherson State University hosted the first day of the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation titled “Current Issues in Preschool, Primary, and Special Education Amid Societal Crisis Challenges.”
The event brought together participants from 31 educational institutions across Ukraine, as well as international partners, including representatives from the University of Basel (Switzerland).
The official opening of the conference began with the performance of the National Anthem of Ukraine and a moment of silence in memory of those who have fallen.
During the welcome segment, speeches were delivered by the Rector of KSU, Oleksandr Spivakovskyi, First Vice-Rector Serhii Omelchuk, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy Liubov Petukhova, and Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A. S. Makarenko, Svitlana Kondratiuk.
She presented a symbolic gift — a commemorative coin, a thematic book, and heartfelt words of support from the staff of Sumy State Pedagogical University.
