The second day of the in-person learning week continued with a hands-on workshop titled “Coffee, Games, and Development,” which beautifully combined a cozy atmosphere of informal communication with valuable pedagogical experience.

The event, designed for students of Preschool and Primary Education, was led by Iryna Mykolaivna Tsiupak — Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences and Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of Preschool and Primary Education.

Held at the “Prosto Kava” café, the workshop gave participants the opportunity not only to engage in open dialogue but also to actively take part in playful activities. Students enjoyed games such as “Who Am I?”, “5 Seconds,” and “Charades”, while discussing their potential applications in educational settings.

During the collaborative session, key topics were explored: how to adapt games for educational use, which topics they align with best, and how to integrate vocabulary and knowledge components into gameplay.

Iryna Mykolaivna emphasized that even ready-made game sets can become powerful tools in the hands of a teacher — when approached creatively and interpreted within the context of various subjects.

This format clearly demonstrated that learning can be light and engaging, yet still profound and professionally meaningful.
