Historians and sociologists from Kherson developed collectible postage stamps
The presentation of the series of stamps took place at the HUB base of the Ivano-Frankivsk office of the KhSU. Natalya Kuzovova, candidate of historical sciences, associate professor, head of the department of history, archeology and teaching methods took part in the development. The series of postage stamps included three blocks of nine stamps each. Each block is stamps of one theme: "Defenders of Ukraine", "Artists, musicians, theatergoers and scientists" and "Public figures".
In 2023-2024 in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Condemnation and Prohibition of Propaganda of Russian Imperial Policy in Ukraine and Decolonization of Toponymy" (2023), a number of toponyms were renamed in Kherson and the Kherson city-territorial community. This collection was prepared in order to perpetuate the memory of outstanding personalities in whose honor the streets of Kherson are named.
