An open lecture on "Technologies for Developing Creative Thinking in Primary Education: A Practical Approach" was held for students of Kherson State University (KSU) and Precarpathian National University (PNU). The event was led by Associate Professors Nataliya Ivanivna Sydorenko and Nataliya Mykhailivna Borysenko from the Department of Theory and Methodology of Preschool and Primary Education, engaging master’s students with interactive teaching methods.

Professors Lyubov Yevhenivna Petukhova, Ruslana Yaroslavivna Romanyshyn, and Inna Bohdanivna Chervinska were also present. Their active participation fostered an environment of knowledge and experience exchange.

Key focus points of the session included:
- Defining "creative thinking" and its importance in personality development;
- Clarifying the distinction between creativity and originality.

Master’s students led the practical portion, demonstrating various methods that support creative thinking in children. Guests actively participated in practical exercises, experiencing firsthand the effectiveness of the methods presented.

A special guest, Oleksandr Yevhenovych Khodosovtsev, addressed critical environmental and social issues, explaining the consequences of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Station disaster. His talk highlighted the role of civic consciousness, closely linked to creativity—the ability to find innovative solutions to today’s challenges.
