Ukrainian Writing and Language Day

On October 27, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language.The holiday is dedicated to the memory of Saint Nestor.The public holiday was established in 1997 by the Presidential Decree “On the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language” in support of “the initiative of public organizations and taking into account the important role of the Ukrainian language in the consolidation of Ukrainian society.” On the occasion of this holiday, the staff of the Scientific Library of KhSU offers you a virtual book exhibition: “Writing is the art of transforming thoughts into eternity.” We congratulate everyone who thinks, communicates, teaches or studies the Ukrainian language.It is multifaceted and unique, bright and original.So let’s study, cherish and protect the Ukrainian language, because as long as it lives, the nation lives.
