All-Ukrainian National Unity Radio Dictation

On October 25, as part of the celebration of the Day of Ukrainian Language and Literature, the traditional All-Ukrainian National Unity Radio Dictation took place. Organized annually by the Faculty of Education, this event unites students, professors, and alumni under all circumstances—whether in classrooms or remotely, in peaceful times, during a pandemic, or even in the challenging moments of war. Writing the radio dictation has become a cherished tradition of the faculty, symbolizing unity around the native language, which, despite all hardships, maintains a sense of belonging to a shared educational and cultural community.

This year, representatives of the Faculty of Education from various corners of the world joined the dictation. Notably, the text for the dictation, titled The Magic of Voice, was written by Ukrainian writer and essayist Oksana Zabuzhko and read aloud by writer, musician, eco-activist, and Ukrainian Armed Forces member Pavlo Vyshebaba.

A highlight of the event was a speech by Lyubov Yevhenivna, who reminded everyone of the faculty's enduring traditions, our resilience, and the values that unite us. She emphasized that the radio dictation has become for all members of the faculty not only a test of Ukrainian language skills but also an opportunity to feel solidarity with the Ukrainian people. Her words inspired the participants to cherish their native language and to support one another during this challenging time for the country.
