Webinar on World Mental Health Day: American Experience for Ukrainian Educators
Anna Romanova, professor of the Department of Hospitality and Restaurant Business at Kherson State University, will participate in a webinar where she will share her experience and research on mental health support in U.S. educational institutions.
In celebration of World Mental Health Day, Kherson State University invites educators, students, and parents to an important webinar titled: "Stress-Free Education: How the U.S. Experience of Supporting Mental Health in Educational Institutions Can Benefit Ukraine." This event focuses on adapting international practices to address the current challenges of mental health in Ukrainian schools and universities.
Special attention will be given to the presentation of Dr. Anna Romanova, professor of the Department of Hospitality and Restaurant Business at KSU and researcher at the Institute of Educational Systems at Florida State University (USA).
During the webinar, participants will learn:
- How to join the #EducationWithoutStress project;
- The challenges to the psychological climate in Ukrainian educational institutions as identified in a recent study;
- How U.S. schools and universities support student mental health.
Other speakers include:
- Dr. Mariia Bratko — professor at Kyiv Borys Hrinchenko University, expert at Charity Fund "Act For Ukraine";
- Dr. Vilma Fuentes — professor at Florida State University, Director of the Support for Ukraine Group.
The event will be moderated by Dr. Violetta Yanishevskaya, President of the Ukrainian Association of Medical Tourism.
