On June 3, 2024, a scientific and methodological seminar was held at the Department of Philosophy, Sociology and Social Work with the participation of third educational and scientific level (PhD) candidates in the specialty 231 Social Work. Postgraduate students of the first year of study Yuriy Virt, Vasyl Katrych, Mykhailo Makar, Igor Prystai familiarized the teaching staff of the department with the topics of their dissertation research, emphasizing the relevance of the objects of research - they are combatants, veterans with disabilities, internally displaced persons in the context of innovation of social work in modern Ukraine. The speeches of the speakers were accompanied by presentation materials, which reflected the key stages of research work during the academic year with a demonstration of existing achievements and results. Doctor of Sociology, Professor Iryna Shaposhnikova, the scientific supervisor of the students of the third educational and scientific level, noted the significant level of scientific achievements of the postgraduate students of the first year of study and outlined strategic directions for the further work of young scientists. During the seminar, a wide range of issues related to the topics of dissertation research were discussed, experienced scientists involved graduate students in the discussion, which became the substantive core of the scientific-methodological seminar.
