The 1st meeting of KSU English Speaking Club
This week marks the first meeting of KSU English Speaking Club this semester, organised by FLEO in cooperation with the University of Kent. On Tuesday, Hayley Snoding and Brady Clarke joined the meeting with students as representatives of the partner university and native speakers of British English.
✔️ Participants, including both regular ones and those who joined us for the first time, told each other about their holidays, new hobbies and discussed the topic of good and bad habits: how to form new ones and get rid of old ones.
📍 On Thursday, the staff of our university discussed the specifics of academic staff recreation during the winter holidays, as well as the breaking news in Ukraine and the world. The participants of the speaking club received all the useful expressions, words on the topic and additional resources after the meeting.
