KSU English Speaking Club for Students
On 14 and 21 November, at KSU English Speaking Club KSU students and representatives of the University of Kent (UK) talked about street food and shopping in different countries, as well as key financial concepts important for modern life.
During the first meeting, discuss the participants' food preferences, including dishes from different countries, and then yesterday:
✔️ shared interesting stories related to money;
✔️ learned the meaning of such concepts as budgeting, savings, debt, loan, interest, assets and many others,
✔️talked about financial goals (short-term та long-term),
✔️discussed the peculiarities of the well-known shopping event – Black Friday: its sales and discounts, pros and cons such as impulsive spending, consumerism and so on.
