At KhSU, students are given the opportunity to expand their individual educational trajectory
From November 7 to 13, on the KSU-online website, a vote will be held regarding the selection of optional components/ educational disciplines/ certificate programs by applicants of the first year of the second (master's) level of full-time and part-time higher education, the second year of the second (master's) level of full-time higher education OP Medicine studies and the 1st course of the shortened period of study of the first (bachelor) level of higher education full-time study specialty 227 Therapy and rehabilitation for the 2nd semester of 2023/2024 n.y.
On November 7, on the ZOOM platform, as part of the organization of the selection procedure for selective components/certificate programs of the cycle of general training for the II semester of 2023/2024, three meetings were held with applicants of the second (master's) level of higher education in full-time and part-time forms of education.
The educational and methodical department, together with the digital infrastructure department of Kherson State University, conducted an instruction on choosing certificate programs/selective components of the cycle of general training and demonstrated the stages of passing the voting procedure on the KSU-online website. Those seeking higher education had the opportunity to ask questions and receive thorough answers from specialists of the educational and methodological department. The meetings were held in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
Applicants of the 1st year of the second (master's) level of higher education of all educational programs/specialties for the 2nd semester must choose 3 selective educational components with the amount of 4, 4 and 5 ECTS credits. Applicants of the II year and I year of the shortened study period of the Medicine educational program of the second (master's) level of higher education must choose 1 selective educational component of the cycle of general training with the amount of 5 ECTS credits.
In order to expand the individual educational trajectory of students of the second (master's) level of higher education within the selective components of the cycle of general training, in addition to academic disciplines, certificate programs were offered, after mastering which the students of higher education will receive certificates, among them:
Medium-term: Current geopolitics and problems of international relations, Basics of ballroom dancing, Basics of Ukrainian folk dance, Social policy for the protection of the population during martial law, Food trends.
Long-term: English in elementary school, Military social work, Children's practical psychology, Speech therapy support for children with special educational needs, Music director of a preschool education institution, Organization and direction of cultural and artistic projects, Technologies for teaching computer science in elementary grades, Ukrainian studies in the educational process, Physical education - sports rehabilitation and recreation.
