Around the English-Speaking World

On Tuesday, Hayley Snoding and Brady Clarke from the University of Kent and KSU students talked about the culture of English-speaking countries.

✔️ The conversation started with an introduction to the basic facts about the 4 largest English-speaking countries: Canada, USA, Australia and the United Kingdom, their culture and traditions.
✔️ After that, the participants had the opportunity to ask our British guests about national food, the truthfulness of some stereotypes, holidays and literature of the UK.
✔️ The meeting ended with an activity with slang words from different countries
