We are 106 - from the past to the future
Kherson State University is one of the most prestigious
of higher educational institutions of Ukraine, which was founded in 1917 and
is included in the ranking of the fifty best higher educational institutions
of Ukraine. Over the years of its existence, KhSU has educated more than 100,000 specialists
various fields of knowledge, including outstanding scientists, writers, politicians,
athletes and public figures. This year, the university celebrated
its 106th anniversary.
Unfortunately, because of the war, the community of the institution met at a solemn event
to the academic council of the university at various sites: in the offices of KhSU in Ivano-Frankivsk
Frankivsk and Kherson and online. At the event, a close crowd gathered
500 participants - students, teachers, as well as partners of the university and
officials.
The festival was solemnly opened by the rector of the university Oleksandr
Spivakovsky, who told about the establishment of the institution, about how
an ordinary institute was able to become the multidisciplinary university that we are
see him today.
Among them, officials of various levels joined in the greetings
Mykhailo Vynnytskyi, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Education and Culture, head of Khersonska
Oleksandr Prokudin and deputy head of the regional military administration
HOVA Volodymyr Klyutsevskyi.
Ukrainian and foreign partners of the university could not either

Vasyl Stefanyk Ihor Tsependa University, one of the first
emphasized the perspective and importance of supporting the university.
Many letters were also received from different parts of Europe, such as
Austria, Slovenia, Norway, Poland, Germany, where representatives
foreign higher education institutions sincerely congratulated the KhSU community on this historic event.
But how could the holiday be without the most important participants -
education seekers? University students recorded a wonderful
video congratulation on the 106th anniversary of KhSU.
