The KSU teacher met with Ivano-Frankivsk schoolchildren within the OlympicLab
The other day, on the initiative of the Kherson and Ivano-Frankivsk regional branches of the NOC of Ukraine, representatives of the #OlympicLab project in the direction of "Fundamentals of business and career development" visited the Ivano-Frankivsk licensed comprehensive private school with in-depth study of IT and foreign languages.
During the sports event, the 5th and 6th grade students got to know Kateryna Kostikova, a teacher of the Olympic and Professional Sports Department of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports of KhSU, representative of the branch of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine in the Kherson region. She is also an international judge in aerial sports, the vice president of the federation, the founder of the Olimpic Fan movement for children and is among the top 10 athletes in sports balance.
In addition, schoolchildren talked with the master of sports of the international class in athletics, participant of many European and world championships, participant of the 2016 XXXI Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) Halyna Obleschuk,
"Once you stand on the podium, you don't want to leave it," said Halyna Obleschuk. "Competition affects you, you train so as not to lose," the athlete added.
Traditionally, athletes not only communicated with schoolchildren, but also warmed up under the clear guidance of Ms. Kateryna and played fun relay races!
At the end of the event, the participants of #OlympicLab received gifts from the branch of the NOC of Ukraine in the Ivano-Frankivsk and Kherson regions and took a joint photo as a commemoration.
