From February 3 to 8, 2020, the Ukrainian weightlifting championship among juniors under 20 years of age was held in the city of Kolomyia, Ivano-Frankivsk region.

Katerina Ilkhanova, a 3rd-year student of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports of KSU, Master of Sports of Ukraine, member of the national team of Ukraine, won first place in a tight fight and became the champion in the 64 kg weight category. She lifted 80 kg in the jerk and 100 kg in the push.
