As part of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Kherson State University, the All-Ukrainian Scientific Forum "Kherson State University in the context of national and European higher education" was held.

At the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports, on November 16, 2017, among the festive events for the 100th anniversary of Kherson State University, the platform "Olympic education in the system of the educational process of the faculties of physical education and sports of universities" of the All-Ukrainian Scientific Forum "Kherson State University in the context of national and of European higher education". The work chaired by Professor B.G.Kedrovsky and the president of the Kherson branch of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, S.F.Kirsanov, was attended by faculty members, heads of departments, the dean's office, and students of the faculty.
