From September 18 to 25, 2017, the Women's Freestyle Wrestling World Championship was held in Klaipeda, Latvia. About 250 athletes from 20 countries took part, among them students of Kherson State University, Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Alla Belinska and Yulia Lisovska. In her weight category, Alla Belinska became the champion and was awarded a gold medal.
