Changes in society associated with the development of science, engineering, technology, computing power, cloud services, artificial intelligence (AI), increasing general access to a huge amount of open data, lead to an increase in global investments in technologies and services. This, on the one hand, puts forward new requirements for the training of young people and the content of education, on the other hand, it provides wide opportunities in the use of new technologies during the educational process.

 As part of the celebration of Science Day in Ukraine, on May 18 at 10:40 a.m., a public lecture will be held by N.V. Valko, professor of the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering. on the topic "Introduction to studying the basics of AI".

 The lecture will consider the possibilities of AI, its working principles, as well as practical tips for studying AI in the educational process, for various specialties.
