On February 12-14, 2016, the 20th International Freestyle Wrestling Tournament among women and men took place in the Palace of Sports in Kyiv.
This is the only freestyle wrestling tournament in Ukraine, which is included in the calendar of the International Freestyle Wrestling Federation. It gathered about 300 participants from 21 countries of the world, including such strong countries as the USA, Iran, Cuba, Guzia, Armenia and others.
Athletes from our faculty also took part in the competition. Traditionally, Alla Belinska pleased us. This time she did not remain without awards again. In the weight category up to 69 kg, Alla Belinska won in the previous matches against opponents from Lithuania and Hungary, and in the final she lost to the leader of our national team - the world champion Alina Mahina. As a result, Alla won a silver medal. We congratulate our athlete and wish her new heights in the future. Keep it up!
