On October 22-23, 2015, on the basis of the Kherson Higher School of Physical Culture, a traditional gymnastics tournament was held in memory of the graduate of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports of Kherson State University, the winner of the 27th Olympic Games, Honored Master of Sports Oleksandr Beresh "O. Beresh Cup".
On October 22-23, 2015, on the basis of the Kherson Higher School of Physical Culture, a traditional gymnastics tournament was held in memory of the graduate of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports of Kherson State University, the winner of the 27th Olympic Games, Honored Master of Sports Oleksandr Beresh "O. Beresh Cup". 47 young gymnasts from the cities of our country - Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Cherkasy and Odesa took part in this tournament. The main judge of the competition was the associate professor of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports of KSU, the judge of the international category Mykola Ivanovich Savchenko, the associate professor of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports O.S. Koltsova, students of the faculty - Vlad Gubenko, Anastasia Filipova and Anton Kuprytsyuk took an active part in the organization of the event.
