Environmental Issues

This week, KSU English Speaking Club discussed the environment and the problems associated with it 🌎.

The event was attended by Tracey Bello, Arlene Millner and students from the University of Kent (UK).

As announced, the participants told about their favorite places in nature and those they would like to visit, and discussed urgent environmental problems and ways to solve them. During the discussion and group work, such problems as climate change, global warming, air pollution, water pollution, plastic clogging, carbon emissions, deforestation and their possible solutions, including recycling, alternative energy sources, being sustainable, and green living, were mentioned.
Finally, everyone suggested what they could do in their daily lives to reduce the negative environmental impact, such as using energy-saving light bulbs, turning off lights, and sorting garbage.
